I know that Erick Neilson on Stedje and wife Kari Johnannesdatter emigrated with their two sons, Niels and Jens in 1856 from Fosshaugen. Do you know on which ship they sailed and where they debarked in North America? If not, can you steer me in another direction where I can find this information? Thank you for all of your help. I appreciate all your assistance.

According to the info in the Sogndal parish record they moved from Sogndal April 7 1856, see #101-104
There were many ships sailing out of Bergen i 1856, and most of them sailed to Quebec.
