I've been looking at the Eidanger Records for 1729, and I'm a little confused as to what these records are exactly. They're listed as "Chronological.' Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks

Hi Meredith,

It means that all the events are recorded as they happened during the given year, rather than broken into types like baptisms, confirmations, marriages, funerals, etc.

Hi, strange concidence.
Today a transcription of these records from Eidanger are available online containing censuses, farmregisters, weddings, baptismal records, confirmations, funerals etc, including a farm register from Telemark and Numedal from 1615.
The records are not complete, the author is working on it, but is contains an enormous piece of information.

If you are interesed to investigate these records I can bring up the pages.
I assume it will be a great supplement and will make the records much easier to read and understand when you can compare with the original records.
