On the homepage of this website you will see a place in the upper left of the display which allows you to enter the name (or part of the name) of a ship and it will take you to whatever information is available here, if any.

The Roon is listed in ancestry.com as travelling between Bremen and New York for arrival in New York on 30 Mar 1912 and 21 Jun 1913. I have not looked to see if there are other arrival dates. Are you interested in some specific person.

Here is a brief description of the Roon.

Name: Roon
Years in service: 1903-1920
Funnels: 1
Masts: 2
Aliases: Constantinoupolis (1920)
Shipping Line: North German Lloyd
Ship Description: Built by J. C. Tecklenborg, Geestemunde, Germany. Tonnage: 8,022. Dimensions: 453' x 55'. Twin-screw, 14 1/2 knots. Triple expansion engines. Two masts and one funnel.
History: Passengers: 100 first, 100 second, 1,700 third. Services: (a) Far East, (b) Australian, (c) trans-Atlantic. Surrendered to British Shipping Controller after First World War. Renamed: Constantinoupolis (1920) Greek. Sold for scrap in May 1925 and dismantled in Germany. Sister ships: Gneisenau and Scharnhorst.
