Hi
I just scanned the chronological list for Anders Abelsen 1790
Zachariasen Abelsen 1783 and Johan Abelsen1787 Hamrum.
I found their death records but i need your help reading the chronological records. for their births. I'm still searching for Abel Johansen 1746 and Martha Zachariasdtr 1755 and their wedding about 1781-1782. Any questions look in the 1801 census. Any ideas would be a great help here. Thanks Kim

Where? What books and what years did you look through?

Most persons were recorded as to what year of life they were in - not 'age' as you and I might think of it today. Therefore a 18 year old in the 1801 census should be looked for in 1783 AND especially in 1784.
You need to expand the time periods of your 'scans' for these events that you seek.

For example, look at Ministerialbok nr. 735A02 (1762-1794), Kronologisk liste 1784, side 260-261.

Good Morning!!
For those that don't think I expanded my research I go back a couple years and forword a couple years. I don't just go by the age on the census. Also when I put ranges. And as we all know the 1700's were all done in the form of kronological list.

A big thankyou to ebache and knudsonfamily for your help.
