I am looking for Lars and Ragnhild Gulliksen who left Norway in 1870. They would have had a son Tollef about 4 yrs and a baby girl.

I am also looking for Isak Torkelson Lauen who left Norway in 1890.

I can't find the passenger lists for these anywhere. Can anyone help?

Do you have any clues to where in Norway they lived?

Sorry, I should have written more information.

Lars and Ragnhild Gulliksen came from Nore, Buskerud. I have them in the 1865 census. They were married on Jan 11, 1866 in Uvdal, Buskerud. According to the US census they left Norway in 1870. I can't find the passenger ship lists anywhere. I am really interested in finding out the name of the baby girl. She died on the ship on the way to US. Ragnhild's mother was Bergit, married to Tollef ?. When he died she married Gregor Syverson. I am interested in finding out the ancestry further back as well as the ship list.

Isak Torkelson Lauen married Gurine Tobiasdatter July 1, 1898. They left for US 6 days later. I have that ship record. According to the US census Isak went to the States in 1890 by himself. I am looking for that record. I have their ancestry back quite aways, just looking for that ship record.

Thanks

Lori Lauen

Hi Lori I can't help you on the passengers lists but I have the Family History Resource CD ROM and there are 2 children listed for a Lars Gulikesen and Ragnild Tollefsdr in Nore, Buskerud, Norway.
Tollef Larsen born 16 Mar 1866 and Kristi Larsdr born 19 Mar 1869. The FHL Film number is 124059 if you live near one of their centers and wanted to lookup the microfilm.

My other post didn't go through. Thanks so much for the name and birth date of the baby girl that died on the ship. I really wanted to know that and I appreciate it very much.

In my previous post I forgot to put that Isak Torkelson Lauen came from Helgebostad, Vest-Agder.
