I have a question about Roll 32. Are there just 2 ship manifests(the Victorian and the Ottawa)? OR please explain what I would find on this roll.

Hello Norsk

I will try to explain, but I am not sure what you mean. What year, what roll? (NARA or NAC?) Usually the rolls contains lots of ships, where did you find the reference to roll 32?

I got the roll number from the Norway Hertage site. If I understand it right, roll 32 is from NARA's St. Albans, VT list of Passenger Arrivals in October 1905. They left Norway on October 6, 1905. I am looking for Hans Sigvartsen and family. I am not sure what port they arrived at. I did not find them on the Ellis Island site maybe because I have not figured out how the Ellis Island people originally wrote down my G Grandparents' names. So they may have come through Canada. I do know that their destination was somewhere in North Dakota. They moved to Minnesota in 1908.

I see what you mean. I have not used those films, but I should think that the roll may contain arrivals between Oct. 3, 1905, and Oct. 27, 1905, probably starting with a list of the VICTORIAN and ending with a list of the OTTAWA. I should think there will be many other lists in between, but that is a guess.
