Hi,

Just because she is not found in the online index to the 1875 census, does not indicate, necessarily, that she is dead. The online version of the 1875 census is comprehensive and perhaps she is living elsewhere than where you expected her and in a place which has yet to be covered in the database?

Hi,

Sorry I can't edit my earlier reply but I meant to type not comprehensive rather than what's there. So it goes...

I cannot confirm if this is correct, but I have an intersting Berit Johannesdatter here on farm Haugan in Saxhaug sub parish in Inderøy.

The date for her birth is two years wrong,1793, but that wasn´t unusual.

In 1875 she was a "Tilreisende" visitor on farm Haugan, "e" widow, but was supported by her children (no information on where she lived), born in Saxhaug, Inderøy municipality 1793, see here
