Hi I am new to this but came here looking for some info concerning my great great great grandad John Nelson who was born at Charles Crown in Sweden 1786. He came to Britain in 1809 as he was in the English Merchant Service in Foreign trade. I found this info on his natralisation papers but I do not understand what Charles Crown means whether it is a specific region of Sweden....

Also thanks for translation of Charles Crown..Karlskrona....just found out this is main naval base in sweden!
