I did not have much luck searching under Brandvold in Ancestry.com. However I did turn up this person. What caught my eye was her friend is listed as Eline Jensen and in your link above her name is listed as Juliane Jens. Grøntoft Brandvold . Also her heimstad is listed as Løiten in your link and Laiter in the Ancestry.com citation. It is a long shot.

Name: Julie Jensen
Arrival Date: 10 Oct 1907
Age: 19 Years
Estimated birth year: abt 1888
Gender: Female
Ethnic Background: Scandinavian
Port of Departure: Liverpool, England

Port of Arrival: Boston, Massachusetts
Friend's Name: Eline Jensen

I am a little confused, are you saying that Julie Jensen born abt 1888 is a sister to Juliane Branvold born in 1888.

Passenger arrival records for the port of Boston are also available through the US National Archives and Records Administration.

The LDS Family History Library usually has copies of NARA microfilm in their collection too - and they have a worldwide network of small local Family History Centers where you can order and use them.
