Since Otto was at sea in 1900 it will be difficult to find more on him.
The father Johan Georg Johannesen Hallberg could be found in Ystad Sweden but I don't have access to the records there.

My grandfather Johannes Wilhelm Halberg is there any record of him anywhere before he came to Canada in 1904 and besides his birth and confirmation. Would he have been at sea as well. He was born in 1884. I have his record of birth.

Could you find anything on Johan Johannesen Hallberg in Norway after 1900 as well as Velene his wife.

Once again thanks for all your help.

Sorry, see my earlier posting where I said

It is very unlikely that Johan and Velene had more than the two sons.
I have searched for death records but no hit.

I do thank you for your previous info. Just thought maybe I would try again and see if anyone could find anymore info on Otto. As far as other siblings my uncle mentioned that my grandfather had a niece that he always went to see in New York and believed it was his sister's child. Thinking maybe it was Otto's. One more thing for me to try and research.

Still nothing on the deaths of Johan Georg Halberg and his wife Velene?

so thankful for your help.

Johan and Welene still at Forberg, Kleiven in 1910.
Birth dates are different, persons must be the same.
