Anton Julius Iversen was born in 1851 in Glemmen parish. Married to Camilla Arnesen 18 Nov 1879 and moved to Brooklyn New York in 1896. He was a sailor and family stories have him drowning and never seen again on his silver wedding anniversary. I can't find any records to support this story other than that by 1905 Camilla is listed as a widow on records. I can not find a death record for Anton.

Any ideas of how to find an account of his death?
