Emigration records of persons leaving from the port of Oslo/Kristiania were not even started to be kept until May of 1867 and the records of that first year look to be very spotty. Not surprising. You know your people left from a very nearby parish in April of that year and may well have left before the records were started.

If original records were never created - no database is even possible to be created.

For the many other databases on the Digitalarkivet you have to look for them on the website. New ones are added very frequently and you have to watch for new additions.

Hi,

There is a project underway called the Norway project which is probably going to do what you are asking about. The project started with some parishes in Oppland. My understanding is that by clicking on addresses within a database you will be taken to the pages with the various pastoral acts and references found in various history books. This is a cooperative venture between a genealogical / historical group and the LDS church.
