Here's a baby Caroline born October 1874 to John Pedersen and Ingeborg Andersen. If same John Pedersen, this is an earlier marriage.
Caroline

Getting vey complicated.

Both Caroline and this Alfred are found in the ELCA records.

Two many John Petersens and Ingeborg's for my liking.

Name: Alfred Pedersen
Baptism Age: 0
Record Type: Baptism
Birth Date: 2 Oct 1875
Baptism Date: 7 Nov 1875
Baptism Place: Peterson, Minnesota, USA
Father: John Pedersen
Mother: Ingeborg Andersen
Church Name: Highland Prairie Lutheran Church
Church Location: Peterson, Minnesota

Witnesses are Ole Mathiasen, Anders Gulbrandsen, Martha Hustad, Inger Andersdatter

Name: Caroline Pedersen
Record Type: Baptism
Birth Date: 9 Oct 1875
Birth Place: Elstad
Baptism Date: 14 Feb 1875
Baptism Place: Peterson, Harmony, Minnesota, USA
Father: John Pedersen
Mother: Ingeborg Andersen
Church Name: Highland Prairie Lutheran Church
Church Location: Peterson, Minnesota

Witnesses are Edvard Olsen, Mon Bergen ? and wife and Ronnaug Blakstvedt ?

Stange, I would say that this is the same family in the 1900 Census but with both children Caroline and Alfred in the same family . I wonder if the Baptism record from ELCA has the wrong year for Caroline.

1900

1880

Another awesome find. I'm thinking that this 1851 ish John Peterson bears no relationship to our target family. Thanks for the sleuthing.

In the search for Anna Peterson, I came across a Martha Nelson born abt 1863 in Norway, daughter of Christian Nelson and Anna Nelson living in 1880 in Holt, Fillimore County.

1880

One of their sons was baptized in 1875. One of the witnesses for the baptism was a Anne Pederson.

A stretch but maybe there is a connection between the two wives, some caution here as Martha is listed as having married a Ole Noem in the FAG for Agnette.
