Christopher Lyse's family history will be found in Forsand, Rogaland. (Yes, there was a time period when the local church records were kept with Strand, Høle and Høgfjord.)

The "Forsandboka. Gards- og ættesoge", 4 volumes by Sigleif Engen will provide a long long history of Lyse and the people who lived there.

I probably share some ancestors with Christopher Lyse. I was able to borrow the ""Forsandboka" by inter-library loan when I needed it. My notes show that the history and genealogy of that farm's residents begins on page 609 of "Band I Del II".

Their daughter Clara Lecy married my great grandfather John William Franz in Evanston Illinois USA in 1895. They had 6 children, 5 girls and 1 boy. The boy, Clarence John Franz (known as Pete) is my grandfather.
