Martin, Elizabeth, and Hanna Hanson departed Christiania on 20 May 1881 for Hull on the Angelo. They bought their ticket from T.C. Kloed, who represented the National Line at the time. Would T.C. Kloed only have sold them a ticket from Liverpool on a National ship or could it have been with another line? I can't find them on the most likely corresponding ships. If a passenger went on to Canada, did they change ships and is the record of their arrival only in the Canadian immigration information? Or did they probably go directly from Liverpool to Quebec, etc.? |
