If these are the correct Levi and Ole from the 1880 US Census it would appear that both Levi and Ole came to the US as very young children. Have you found them in the 1870 US Census.

Age: 20
Estimated birth year: abt 1860
Birthplace: Nor
Father's birthplace: Nor

Reason for comment in my previous post about the arrival as children is based somewhat on this 1900 US Census where the arrival year is listed as 1862 when Levi would have been only two years old and Ole only 9 or so years old. Would they not have come with their parents. And thus my question about the 1870 US Census.

Name: Levy Anderson
[Lova Anderson]
Home in 1900: Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin
Age: 40
Birth Date: Dec 1859
Birthplace: Norway
Race: White
Gender: Male
Immigration Year: 1862
Relationship to Head of House: Head
Father's Birthplace: Norway
Mother's Birthplace: Norway
Spouse's name: Sara Anderson
Marriage Year: 1893

This is a long shot for the 1870 US Census but finding them in that Census seems to be quite difficult. Only the mother is present, and the name is Pederson not Anderson and Oliver would have to become Levy in next census. But working from the LDS Record posted by Einar it might be possible at least the county is right.

Name: Live Pederson
Birth Year: abt 1818
Age in 1870: 52
Birthplace: Norway
Home in 1870: Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin
Race: White
Gender: Female
Value of real estate: View image
Post Office: Grantsburg
Household Members: Name Age
Live Pederson 52
Ole Pederson 16
Christian Pederson 14
Oliver Pederson 10

To answer your initial question; this would be your grandfathers birth place:
Bjørnsmo farm in Bardu sub-parish in Målselv parish, Troms county.
People from Målselv were among the first to settle in Burnett county, Wis.

lds is the Latter Day Saints ie Mormans. They have a search website that is quite useful. It can be reached at.

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails&c=fs%3A1708703

Enter Levy Anderson and 1860 for birth and christening and hit search to see the information that Einar posted.
