Hi,

Peder was my great-grandmother¨s brother. He was born January 27 in 1883 and he emigrated on SS Lucane departing from Liverpool and arriving at Ellis Island in april 1899. I have found him on the passenger lists. From a census record in 1930 I know that he was living in Carbon County in Wyoming with his English born wife Lillie and four sons: Elmer , Frank Kermit and George born (appx. (respectively) 1915, 1916, 1918 and 1922.

I have heard that Frank later lived in California. Anyone who knows something about this family?

Thank you. I am waiting for information from a relative concerning his sons and their names, but from the investigation I have been doing, I think this is my Peder/Peter and his son.I got one information wrong. Lille was born in Wisconsin, her father was English, the mother Swedish.

Atleast these people (Elmers daughter and grandson) have interest in Norway. You can see a lot nice pictures from their trip to Norway in 2007, visiting Oslo, Lillehammer, Voss, Bergen...

I found Linda and Erik Hoofnagle on Facebook as well as Amy Nelson, so know I am hooked up with them and can fulfill my puzzle! Thank you for posting the obituary who started the whole thing!
