Hello all.
I'm having a hard time reading this baptism record. (#44 at the top)
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=9290&idx_id=9290&uid=ny&idx_side=-66
or

I'm having troubles with the farm names of the father and the witnesses. I think one is Rudihaugen?

Which brings me to my next question...
If it is Rudihaugen, isn't that too far west to be part of Gausdal? On the map I see it is in Ostre Slidre. Am I mistaken and there is a farm by that name in Gausdal?

Thank you!
Heidi

Christian was born Febr 21 and bapt March 15 in Gausdal. His parents were farmer Knud Gulbrandsen, Rudstuen and Anne Chrestensdatter.

Witnesses Jon Chrestensen, Restad and Kone (wife), Torger Olsen, Rudshagen, Marit Gulbrandsdatter, Restad, Jon Iversen, Rødgaarden.

Yes, a Rudi haugen is in Østre Slidre, here it is Rudshagen, that's in Gausdal. (Rud - - - found in most parts of Norway).
