Thank you. I didnt think so. Odd went looking for his parents graves. This is who he was told was his father by the priest in Kabelvåg in 1991 That is what the daugher told me. I cant find Margrethe anywhere! Again Thank you for your help!

I joined Ancestry.com to help me with all this and they told me that doing my Norway roots were not easy on Ancestry!!! Hello...Its not easy anyway!! Why am I paying them so much????They are working for the other sides but not for Norway. Where else can I look or ask for help?

It took a while, but I finally got a reply from the Gimsøy church officials:
Margrethe Josefa Hauan, born 22-05-1891, dead 08-08-1937, buried at Gimsøy church 16-08-1937. Residence: Hauan. Husband: Alfred Hauan.

No traces of Alfred's deathrecord, but they should continue looking.

Thank you so much Jan, I have tried with Gimsoy church as well. She died so young. I have so many questions....I am still working on it..Looking for her family in Gimsoy. She had a number of brothers and sister. Thank you again....Sharon
