Hi

The following family left the parish Eiker in Buskerud (Haug church) in 1860:

Niels Olsen Hougsetheie - born 8 aug. 1820 in Hole/Modum (Tyristrand). His father was Ole Andersen.
and his wife:
Birthe Gulliksdatter- born 27 or 7 sept or dec 1823 in Eiker(birthday and month are difficult to read, but likely 27 sept.). Her father was Gullik Juulsen.
and their children:
Ane Carine/Anne Karine - born 7. sept 1849 in Eiker
Karen Marie - born 6. feb 1853 in Eiker
Olava - born 30. june 1856 in Eiker
They might have used Aas or Aasterud as surname in US.

They were going to Amerika and we don't know what happened to them.

Which ship did they leave Norway with? Where did they settle? More children? Grandchildren?....
I'm helping a friend to search. He knows "everything" about them in Norway.

Leaving Eiker parish, right page, no 13:
