What was the population of Heddal in the 1825-1850 period and what is the population now? It is easy to find info about the church but getting a feel of the place then and now has stumped my google efforts.

Census-1865 for Hiterdal, Telemark shows 3127 persons from 561 different farms.
Notodden, Telemark have a population of 12390 today. Notodden was separated from the municipality of Heddal in 1913 to become a separate town and municipality. On January 1st 1964, the rural municipalities of Heddal and Gransherad were merged into Notodden to form a new enlarged municipality.
