Help?
Magnar Estenstad was born in Hĝlonda in 1924. He was an Olympic cross country skier.

I'm looking for several pieces of information but of course, I'd be thankful for any little bit! I have his birth and death information (dates and places) but I'd like to know about his:

Parents? Petter and Delia Estenstad??? The dates aren't matching up for me on this and they may be his grandparents.

Spouse?

Children?

Ever hopeful,
~Jen

You're great! Thank you!

On my family tree I have Marit Pedersdatter born 1826 married Ole Estenstad born 1807 with son Petter Estenstad born 1858. I was told (and it may still be true) that Magnar was related through this branch but I'm not seeing it.

---From my tree - Marit & Ole's children (all born in Estenstad)--
Ingeborg Olsdtr Estenstad 1853 – 1928
Ole P Estenstad 1854 –
Peter / Petter Olsson Estenstad 1858 – 1906
Beret Olsdtr Estenstad 1864 –

Again, thank you! It's late here in Arizona so I'm off to bed and will see what I can figure out in the morning!

During the Norwegian championship 1954 Magnar Estenstad landed off the trail, which resulteted in a complicated fracture that ended his skiing career.

1953 he was awarded with Holmenkollmedaljen, Norwegian skiing´s highest award for competitors in Nordic skiing.

I don't find any Ole P. Estenstad born in 1854, in case there is one it would be late in 1854.
