Baptism of my grandfather, Hans Jakob Olaisen, is recorded in the parish register for Alversund church, Alversund parish, Hordaland county, date 10 November 1867. I am unable to decipher the words used to describe the occupations of his father, Olai Mikkelsen, and his mother, Christi Christiansdtr. Would appreciate any help on this. I would also hope for a translation of the entry in the far right-hand "remarks" column of the register.

The baptismal record is #14. He was born Oct 20 1867.
Hans Jakob was born out of wedlock. Title for his father is not given, the word in front of his name is "Ungkarl" = bachelor and he was living at Titland.
Hans Jakobs mother was Christi Christiansdatter, living at Nedre Tvedt.

Since Hans Jakob was born out of wedlock the far right column is used to inform about who gave the info. In this case it says "Opgivet av Barnemoderen den 10 November. Foreldrenes første Leiermål" = The childs mother gave the information Nov. 10. It was the first child born out of wedlock for both parents.
