Lars Olsen and Marthe Olsdatter? So did Lars marry someone with same famiy name... if Marthe was the 'datter' of father Olsen?? I'm still trying to make sense of this name stuff myself!

Lars Olsen - his father was Ole - i.e. Lars who was Oles son.
Marthe Olsdatter - her father was Ole - i.e. Marthe who was Oles daughter.

In this situation (marriage) we can conclude that they were not brother and sister. In other situation investigations will yield answer related to possible common father.

Yes, Gjertrude Thomina born Aug 15 1816, #68, and Anne Maria born Aug 4 1827,
#624.

Lars Olsen, Sundbyeeie and Marthe Olsdatter, Sundbye were married June 7 1813, see 2nd record from bottom of left page.

To find the right Lars Olsen and Marthe Olsdatter is a challenge, too many possibilities.

Looking at the marriages for Nannestad for 1814 does not turn up any Lars Olsen and Marthe Olsdatters. In 1813 there is one such couple but they seem to be connected to the Sundby farm.

Second from the bottom on the left page. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7664&idx_id=7664&uid=ny&idx_side=-153

Sorry Einar you were posting while I was still looking.

Yes it appears that we have pulled the thread to it's end. I appreciate the effort and I am happy to have the history of Lars (2 great grandfather) on the Nordbye farm to add to my ancestry records.
Thankyou so much!
