Thankyou all again, for all the information. I had not much except what I asked in the question. Now I know a lot more.

Ole Olsen Sundt was 60 in the 1801 census for Bergen, b. ab. 1749 and his wife Gurina Hansdatter was 38.

An Ole Sundt died 1806 in St Jĝrgen´s Hospital, age 52, born about 1754, see here

Ole Olsen Sundt´s son Ole Olsen Sundt died in the same hospital 1813, age 20, see here

Ole Olsen Sundt and Gurina Hansdatter engaged in Korskirken Oct. 1787, see top left page here

Question:
Is this the same Ole Olsen Sund who was godfather in Trondheim to Edrica Erichsdatter Mai 1781, see page one?

Blacksmith Ole Olsen and Gurina Hansdatter were engaged Oct 1st 1787 and married Oct 24 1790.
First child as married couple, Ole Olsen Sundt, born Aug 29 1791, see 2nd record in 3rd column.

Kare, am reading all this information over again. I do not know for sure, if this is the same Ole Olsen Sund, who was godfather in Trondheim to Edrica Erichsdatter Mai 1781. I will ask in the family and see if they've heard of the name Edrica Erichsdatter.
Do you know why Ole Olsen Sundt, died at the age of 20?
Thanks,
Diaen

Hi, no cause of death given.

Not sure about any relationship to Edrika since Ole Olsen Sundt was mentioned almost last among the godparents.
Normally family firts, then neighbors and friends.

The only Ole Olsen Sundt in Norway 1801 was father and son in Bergen.

Sounds right, so probably just a friend of the family for Edrika's baptism. That helps to know there are not others with the same name as Thore Olson Sundt, from that area. Lots of good information on the family now.
Thanks again,
Diane

Am now looking for a birth or baptism record of Ane Helene Christiansdatter who was born 1798-Hammerfest. She's the one who married Thore Olson Sundt. Have been looking in the parish records but not finding her.
Thanks,
Diane

Thore Olsen and Ane Helene Christiansdatter had a son Ole Christian who was born out of wedlock and baptized April 21 1826, see #24.

How do you know Ane Helene was born 1798?

The year for Ane Helene Christiansdatter was in a book, that a relative has. I will check again to make sure it is right. Maybe it is the wrong date, seeing as you're finding her death date in 1877. Maybe her birthdate or baptism would be under 1787 or so then? Maybe that's why she is hard to be found.
Thanks again for information received from the people on this site.

Could it possibly be a different Ane Helene Kirsitansdatter, that was ca.90, when she died on Rovaldsvik, Apr 30, 1877?
Am still waiting for a reply on the date of birth for Ane Helene Christiansdatter, that was mentioned in a book.

Info on Ane Helene Christiansdatters birthyear
in a book 1798,
at marriage to Jacob Sivertsen 1792,
at death in Rovaldsvik 1787.
No suitable hit in neither of the censuses in Finmark.
