Seeking information on Dena Mickelsen born in Hamar Norway April 26, 1863 and husband Peter C. Blystad also born in Hamar Norway June 23, 1855. I think Peter's "Blystad" may have been the farm name.

Mickelsen should be Mikelsdatter in Norway. This is Randine Mikelsdatter and family from the 1865 Norway Census

I am trying to locate a birth record for either of these. Hamar would have been the parish? I only seem to come up with records for Hamar starting in 1900. Any advice on where to procede from here?

How certain are you of the date of birth for Peter. Here is a Peder born June 6, 1855. Parents are Christian Pedersen and Gunnar Christoffersdatter. Left side of page

However it could happen that the date was either recorded or interpreted incorrectly here in the states

I have located the marriage record for Randine and Peder on Nov.11, 1883. I am trying to find an immigration record for them most likely in 1884 or 1885 but have been unsuccessful so far. I would also like to find a passenger list and ship name. Can you advise me on a direction to go with this?

You may have already resolved your issue but there are records for Vang / Hamar, too.

I assume you refer to this #33 left page. It would appear to me that Peder and Randine are the two people listed above in my links.

Finding an immigration record for these two either together or separately is proving a little difficult

Hi,

I think this may Randina and daughter Olivia leaving through Oslo / Kristiania in 1885. Their destination is listed as Necoda. (If all goes well....)

http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=18&filnamn=EMIOSLO&gardpostnr=68601&merk=68601#ovre

Just in case the link doesn't last, here is their copy pasted in:

Oslo 4515 1885 Mai 29 Randine Mikkelsen f G Gift 21 Wang Hedr. Necodan 4516 Norge Ppd Angelo
68602 Oslo 4516 1885 Mai 29 Olivia Mikkelsen f Barn 2 Wang Hedr. Necodan 4517 Norge Ppd Angelo
