Thanks to both of you! I can visit the library in Madison, Wisconsin (Nasereth) where they have the bydeboks. I will also try the 1950 tax list and other methods. Again, I really appreciate all of your help
May you both be blessed.

You are welcome.
A translation from the "Bygdebook" can be done here.

Another option is to send a requets to Luster History Society.
There are two e-mail adresses up in the right corner, see here
They can hopefully help you.

Good luck.

You must have lots of familymembers in Norway.

See the 1910 census for Botten on page one:
Sjur Olsen Kilen had a granddaughter Kari Tøgersdatter Kilen b. Dec. 20. 1902.
Kari married in Dale in Luster Nov. 19. 1928 Johannes Andersen Leirmo b. July 12. 1901.
Johannes Leirmo d. 1989, Kari Leirmo d. 1987 in Dale, Luster.

A grandson Tøger (Sigurd) Tøgersen Kilen b. Mai 5. 1910 married Brita Gytri b. 1916.
Tøger Sigurd Kilen d. 1998 and Brita Kilen d. 2000 in Dale, Luster.
