Hi, Could anyone please tell where in Origon, South Silverton, Marion is situated, North - South or East. Magnar.

Magnar, I'm sure you mean the town of Silverton, in Marion County, in the state of Oregon. Silverton is located in the northwest part of Oregon.

Hi, and thank you, I was surprised that this family came that far West. Anna Meidell came to US in 1872 and grew up on the Iowa prairie, married another Norwegian born Knut Jensen.
May be Anna like to sea seawater once more. Magnar.

Anna and Knut are i the 1900 US census in Marion County, Oregon with their six children
