Is there anyone on forum who might have access to an obituary for this man whose findagrave memorial I'm posting?

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=lee&GSfn=howard&GSby=1922&GSbyrel=in&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=42816914&df=all&

I would like to

1. confirm that his parent was Peter Lee (and ultimately that his father's parents were Nels Sjurson Lee and Karina Danielson) and

2. find who Howard's survivors are.

Thanks for any help.

Jackie M.

Did you try contacting the St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society, St. Croix County Historical Society and/or the the lookup volunteers and possible newspapers listed at the St. Croix County, WIGenWeb?

Howard Lee's death is also included in the Social Security Death Index which means that you could order his application for their fee and learn his parentage.

Jackie, you might try looking for their wedding announcement too! That usually would list the groom's parents. Just a thought. Also, I've had good luck either calling or e-mailing the local library and asking for help. Sometimes, they don't even charge. :-) good luck!
