She does not seem to be in the 1900 census, is she still alive and if so where did she go from Moss after 1875?

I think you've got the right one. Here she is in census-1865.
Could she be Trine Søiland ?
It is her! Census-1910 Her birthday is 27 Jan 1849, as in your chr. record.
Else Karine Villadsen Born: 29 Mar 1885 Christening: 19 Apr 1885, St. Petri in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway Parents: Bødker Gustav Villadsen Söiland & Trine Sørensdatter
Vilhelm Villassen Born: 27 Jul 1887 Christening: 04 Sep 1887, St. Petri in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway Parents: Bødker Gustav Villassen Söiland & Trine Sørensdatter
Sören Söiland Born: 02 Apr 1890 Christening: 04 May 1890, St. Johannes in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway Parents: Bødker Gustav Söiland & Trine Söiland
In the census Gustav is a Bødkermester (professional bødker). A Bødkermester was a master barrel maker/a cooper master.

this looks pretty good - her father's name was Soren and a younger sister was Else Karine. What led you to look at the Soiland entry? |

Is there anything like that from 1865 that might show the father? Was Halvor possibly a brother of the deceased father?
Also what are the birthplaces for Johanna, Halvor and Elen?
Are these places Hetland/Frue and Lye/Gjesdal ? |

I believe Halvorsdatter may come from a bad indexing.

I dont know if this is still of interest, but Trine Søiland (1849 - 1933) was my grand grandmother. She was married to Gustav Søiland (1850 - 1928). They had 6 children (two died young). Anna Johanna (1878 - 1882), Søren (1880 only one day), Anna Johanna (1882 - 1945), Else Karine (1885 - 1917), Vilhelm (1887 - 1974 and Søren (1890 - 1970). Vilhelm was my grandfather. He was a bødkermster, the same as his father. I am still living in the house that Trine and Gustav bought in 1914 in Stavanger, Norway.
The parents of Trine Søiland were Søren Thomassen (1817 - 1884) and Else Karine Tollefsdatter (1815 - 1902), living in Asker, Norway |
