Hi I'll be visiting Norway this summer and I'm having trouble
finding some of the farms that my ancestors lived on.

Lunde Grindheim parish Etna Hordaland

Møes Hosanger Parish Hosanger Hordaland

Muletrædet Plads Hosanger Parish Hosanger Hordaland

Tjelle Skånevik Akra Parish Skånevik Hordaland

Thanks Jim

You should look for the modern spellings of each location which still exists and check what municipality each old parish is now part of. If you consulted the published bygdeboks for those areas they should have given you information about the modern names.

Etna = Etne
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etne

Hosanger has been divided and sections merged with various municipalities.

Skånevik has been divided and is now in two different municipalities.

I've done a lot of research in old Skånevik and have never heard of a Tjelle... where did you get your spellings?
