Martha Olsen (or maybe Olsdatter) - a very common name and Oslo have many parishes - where does the emigration date (and record) come from - it may be of help.

Anyway, one Marta Vilhelmine Olsdatter (or Olsen) born March 23 1884 was baptized April 10 the same year, see #20
Kildeinformasjon: Oslo fylke, Sagene, Klokkerbok nr. 1 (1880-1891), Fødte og døpte 1884, side 85.
Permanent sidelenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5431&idx_id=5431&uid=ny&idx_side=-90.

Her parents were Ole Andersen and Marte Marie Kristoffersen.

Perhaps Martha Olsen June 5, 1903 best fits the candidate. I am not sure there is any new data in this record tho.

The Ellis Island page says Martha arriving on Aurania 1903 is headed to visit her aunt Charlotte Gilboe (Gilbve) at Charsburty (?) Wisconsin, who also paid the ticket.

Thank You...this is the Martha Olsen I was looking for. The other Olsens on the passenger list are not familiar. Is it possible that there were other siblings listed?

Ref Rikka Olsen. There are ten Olsen's listed in Gateshead in 1901 UK census, all with very anglicised names - but nothing like Rikka. Nearest would be Henry, b 1886. No recrod either of a Rikka 9or near) Olsen eslewhere in UK
