I can find Ludvig (Karl Ludvig) Arnesen in the 1900 census but not in the 1910 census? Family charts show him dying in 1913 and Andrine dying in 1912. I have never been able to find any records to support that. Now I am thinking maybe they died before 1910 since they do not show up in the census.
What parish should I look at to find their death records? Any other clues anyone can suggest would be appreciated!

Thanks - lots to check but these folks just don't want me to know where and when they died! They do not seem to come up in any data base for their deaths.

OK now that we know where they are buried is there a way to find out the plot # they are in and if there is a headstone? I have searched for info on the cemetery but can not find information on an office. The cemetery looks quite nice would love to visit someday!

I have recieved some more information regarding the Arnesen grave from the manager of Vår Frelser's graveyard. The gravenumber I gave you in the last mail was not correct. The correct number is 01.015.03.023. The grave was created in 1878 by restaurateur Kjølseth. The first person who was buried here was the wife of Ludvig Arnesen (carpenter) - Karen Arnesen (71 years) on 17.09.1878. Next was madame Marie C. Kjølseth (41 years) on 16.06.1885. Wife Andrine Arnesen (71 years) was buried on 26.04.1912. Carpenter Ludvig Arnesen (78 years) was buried on 14.10.1913. Mrs. Elise Arnesen (66 years), born 06.02.1876 and died 06.02.1942. Buried on 10.02.1942 Engineer Alfred Arnesen (85 years), born 17.12.1875 and died 05.05.1960. Buried on 17.06.1960.
I think the Karen Arnesen who died in 1878 must be the mother of Ludvig who died in 1913. I have her as a Kari Syversdatter who married Johannes Arnesen but have never been able to find her birth records. Hopefully her death record exists and it will have that long awaited clue! Where should I be looking for her death record? Not much to go on from this but it seems like a good start.
Thank you! too bad there is not a lot of information in the record. What is the name of the town she was born? I am assuming the column next to her year of birth is where she was born?
