| I would like help with a death and burial entry in the digitized parish register for Alversund church in Alversund parish, Hordaland. Date of death is 16 November 1881. The deceased is my great-grandfather Karl Olai Mikkelsen. In the central column of the register is a note which appears to refer to him. Could someone interpret this for me? |

Somehow the translation has some deviations. It reads:
"Han forlot Johannes Hillands Hus sent om Kvelden den 16 November uden at sige, hvor han vilde hen; (han hadde været der i en Begravelse) da han om Morgenen ikke var kommen til sit Hjem, antog man at han var gaaen paa Söen, og efter Undersøgelse fantes han i Søen i Nærheden af Hillands Nøst."
i.e.
He left Johannes Hillands house late at night of Novvember 16. without telling where he intended to go, (he had been there at a funeral), when he in the morning had not come home, it was assumed that he had fallen into the sea, and after searching he was found in the sea close to Hillands boathouse.
