I can't locate the Wilson Line S/S Salmo passenger list which departed Trondheim on May 17th, 1905. My Grandfather is entry #2693 according to info supplied by my cousin many years ago. Any help to the original document would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mike
If your guy left through Trondheim the record could be searched for here. If you find him you can page up or down and look at all the names of folks leaving on Salmo that day.
It's unlikely in 1905 that the Salmo was going trans Atlantic to US or Canada. Most likely Salmo was a "feeder" ship going to Hull or some other port in Great Britain, whereat the folks are reloaded onto a bigger ship for the voyage to America.
The original "Emigrantprotokoller, 1867-1926" for Trondheim have been copied to microfilm (the entire date span of records required 15 reels of film) and you can order your choice of those microfilm reels through the LDS Family History Library. The film will be sent to the closest LDS Family History Center of your choice where you can view it and make copies of those pages important to you.
