Here is a Martin Anderson getting married in 1904. Witnesses are Wm Wheeler and Annie Wheeler. (his first wife was named Amalie Elizabeth Wheeler)

There are not a large number of Martin Andersens leaving Norway in 1876 that I could find. Here is about the only one.

Might be link to image of the 1921 census. Perhaps the first letter is a G?

Maybe Glamen? Glemmen?

Martin b. 8 Aug 1850 father Anders Andersen, Hurum, Buskerud fylke
Lorenz Martin b. 11 Aug 1850 father Anders Taralsen,Lenvik, Troms fylke
Anton Martin b 21 Aug 1850 father Anders Hansen, Frosta, Nord Trondelag fylke
Martin b 16 Aug 1850 father Andreas Jensen, Høyland, Rogaland fylke

Found in the 1875 Norwegian census transcribed at familysearch.org:
Ole Martin Andersen b. 24 Aug 1850 Aremark, Østfold fylke father is Anders Jensen
