In my records , this person:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8573&idx_id=8573&uid=ny&idx_side=-160
3rd complete record on left
has been identified as the same person in this marriage record:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8574&idx_id=8574&uid=ny&idx_side=-196
7th down second column on left
This no longer makes sense to me, but I can find no information about the Berte Carine of the birth record in places like the 1801 census or Berthe Johannesd for that matter either so I must not know where to look.
The person from my lineage is Marthe Knuds:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8574&idx_id=8574&uid=ny&idx_side=-161
2nd on right

The parents of Marthe Knudsdatter were married June 28 1812, see 7th record in 2nd column.
Berthe Johannesdatter came from Wahl.

Marthes brother Hans, was baptized at home March 13 1813, see top record right page.

A sister Anne, was baptized at home March 23 1816, see 3rd record on right page.

No sign of mothers given names being Berthe Carine.

This Berte Carine died 1801 (mentioned in an earlier topic, she was buried with her two siblings in the same grave).

The first Berte Carine´s father was John Olsen Stordalen.

The 2. Berthe Johannesen who maried Knud Hansen Dokka was from Wahl.
Not sure but I doubt she was John Stordalens daughter.

She is a mystery, the Wahl name tells that her father was Johannes Wahl.

Is info ab. Knud Hansen Docka of interest for you?
