Frederik Severin Iversen b.16 December 1844 in Kristiania, Norway Anne Marie Berntsdatter b. 21 July 1845 in Fredrikstad, Ostfold, Norway
married 22 January 1871 in Glemmen.

I lose them after the 1900 census. perhaps they both died before the 1910? but I can not find any record of their deaths?

He seems to use the name Severin not Frederik. She seems to use Marie not Anne.

Where should I be looking?

thank you for any help.

David

This is probably that same family in the 1910 Census. Some of the birth years seem a little off.

that is them! thank you. Iversen was abbreviated so I was not finding it when I searched. Thanks I will remember that when searching in the future. OK so now I know they lived past 1910. i guess now it is possible they lived much later and I will not be able to find their death records....

Source information: Østfold county, Vestre Fredrikstad, Parish register (official) nr. I 8 (1902-1936), Death and burial records 1917, page 156.

Line 29 is Severin's death record from 1917. Is there anything to tell me where he is buried on this?

Thanks!

Record is from vestre Fredrikstad (Now Fredrikstad Domkirke), photo.

His address was Trosvikstranda 40, it looks like there was two alternatives for the burrial, Glemmen nye kirke and Vestre Gravlund.
Search with this map and click "Skråbilde".

Line 59 looks to be Severin's sister? Not exactly sure what it says but if she never married he did have a sister by Janette Sophie Iversen - one born in 1856 and died in 1857 and one born in 1858 - I have her birth date as 15 April 1858 - is this record saying she was born on 15 April 1857?

Thank you. I will see if I can find those cemeteries and make an inquiry on his grave.

line 28 is Anne Marie's death record. any clues here to where she is buried - assuming she is buried with her husband - at least now I have 2 dates and people to check.

Thanks!

thank you for the email address - I have been trying to figure out exactly who to ask so this is a huge help!

Is this the cemetery office or the church office?
