I am doing a research project for school and since I have always been very interested in Scandinavians, I chose to research them.
I really really really need a primary written source on how the Scandinavians impacted New Zealand society anywhere between the 1860's and the 1880's. It could be anything, as long as it's a primary written source and I will cite you too if you give me permission to use your resource, please help:D
A primary source is information from the time being studied, e.g. a newspaper clipping immediately following the event studied, an eyewitness diary entry.
P.S. If you can't find, or do not know of any primary written sources, I would still GREATLY appreciate any source on their impact.

Hi.

I good start is Norsewood (Norwegian wood), link

Scandinavian em. came to N.Z by em. ship Hĝvding in 1872 and -73, one way tickets paid by the N.Z authorities, link

Good luck with your project
