My gr grandfather Oliver Larsen was a mariner and was born in Drammen in 1836.On his English marriage certificate he gives his father name as Lars Olsen and his occupation as an agent That is the only information we have all his papers was destoryed during the war j Jim H

He was born out of wedlock, the father being Lars Olsen who worked for ships captain Christian Blom on Strømsø and the mother was Maren Kirstine Nielsdatter, Dansrud.
