Nils Larsen married the second time to Mari Christensdtr. in Oct. 1816.

I have done a search in Liers and Sigdal bygdeboks for info that would provide clues as to Nils and Astri's births and parents but have found nothing. I would appreciate any information as to these two people.
Thank You, Gene Nelson, Stillwater, Minnesota

I guess you seen this then? No parents mentioned: Bakke-Meren

Hestemyr
Nils Larsen, b. ab. 1750, d. 1832, is mentioned as a cotter from 1801. He was married to Astri Knutsdtr., b. ab. 1764, d. ab. 1816.
Children: Knut, Nils, Lars.
Nils married a 2nd time to Mari Kristensdtr.
1840: Farm handed over to 1) Nils Nilsen, b. ab. 1796, d. 1889, who immediately received the deed of conveyance for the farm.
He was first married to Ingeborg Olsdtr., later married to Berte Andersdtr.
1849: Deed of conveyance handed over to the son 2) Lars Nilsen, b. 1822, d. 1888, married to Ingeborg Olsdtr., b. ab. 1805 in Sigdal.
Lars let his father use half the property. He also bought farm no. 74, title no. 9, which he later transfered to Hofgaard.
1888: The widow issued a deed of conveyance to 3) Peder Pedersen Kortnes, married to Oline Olsdtr.
No later than 1904, the farm was handed over to the son 4) Ole Pedersen, which in 1908 issued the deed to 5) Edvard Andersen, married to Sara Olsdtr. Avdalen.
Edvard was from Drammen and had lived at Myresetra before coming to this place.
Edward later sold the farm to Martin Johansen, but when Martin came with the removal load, he found that the house was blown up, and one of the walls were at the ground. He would then not take over the property, and in 1932 it was sold to 6) Martinius Avdal, b. 1884, married to Karoline Holmen.
Children: Fritjof, Harriet, Anna, Mary, Solveig, Olaf, Margit.
