http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7628&idx_id=7628&uid=ny&idx_side=-267

I need some assistance in reading this record. Some of the previous pages are very messy.

#8 on page 267, for example, how is the information structured?

I have been looking for information on Jens Thorsen. The only information I have is that he was born approx. 1795 in Smedstad, Gjerdrum, Akershus, so I have been scanning through this and previous pages in the register.

His wife was Berthe Thorsdatter, approx. same birthdate in Gjerdrum.

Their son was Hans Jensen, born 11 Apr 1811 in
Nordre Braadal, Gjerdrum, Akershus, Norway. Here is his birth record:

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7629&idx_id=7629&uid=ny&idx_side=-75.

Berthe Thorsdatter was baptized June 2 1782, #20. Parents Thor Svendserud and Anne Olsdatter - most likely a typo, should have been Hansdatter.

9 March, that little mark is to start a new entry rather than being a 1, if you look up the page you will see it every time a new entry starts.

I read "the little mark" as a short for "dato" - date or "den" - the.

Thor Larsen, b.1745 in Smedstad is Jens' father. I have found 2 entries for 1745 in the Gjerdrum Parish Register, both are hard to read. (Kari Larsdatter is thought to be Thor's wife.)

#8 on this page:

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7628&idx_id=7628&uid=ny&idx_side=-20

and #27 on this one:

#28 on RH page. I believe this is a baptismal entry for Thor Larsen and Kari Larsdatter's daughter Karen in 1786. I could use some assistance with deciphering it.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7628&idx_id=7628&uid=ny&idx_side=-129

Appears to read 23 July...Thor Larsen Smedstadhaug...Kari Larsdatter. Then _______ Lars Smedstad, Jacob Larsen Smedstad, Anne Larsdatter Smedstad, Anders _______ Smedstad, ________ Jacobsdatter Smedstad...

Having difficulty reading anything else. There is an entry on the right that shows something about 1844.
