Does the database identify his wife? Was her last name Forthun? It appears son Henry is counted twice in the 1920 census, once with goma and once with dad:

Well the Family Tree author seems to have some validity. She has a long list of siblings of Christ Dahl including this person.

Ole Olsen Spangerud
Birth 28 Jan 1876 in Spangrud, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, Norge
Death 1955

Here is his birth, and the parents match that of Kristian Olsen on names and ages are listed as 35 and 34. . See number 9.

Unfortunately it appears that the son Henry C. Dahl died in WWII:

To lyndal40: The Kristian you have written about, is the correct one. His date of birth is correct, and his mother's name, date of birth and date of death are also correct. I was a bit surprised about his last name as Dahl - but there he is! Thank you. This was very interesting.

Thank you so very much! You have all always helped me in finding my emigrated relatives....... The information you have found about his life in ND is very interesting. Is it possible to find any ancestors? And, of course, Dahl is "part" of the name Fremdredalen, where they lived.

The census gives it as 1902, but that can't be considered exact but only about.
