Okay, so that's Simon Jorstad's daughter Signe Jorstad who married Herman J Halvorson in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota 5/4/1898

1900 - Murtie O Halvarson in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. An Ancestry.com user suggests her name is "Martie" [suggestions like that are sometimes right, sometimes wrong]

1910
Chicago, Cook, Illinois
Herman Helverson 32
SIgne J Helverson 34
Murtice O Helverson 11

1920 transcribed as Herm Halvarson

Looking back over the postings for Dortha, I don't see the marriage record or any documentation that "your" Dortha married Clifford. There is a family tree on Ancestry.com with this information. No other source.

I am new to this forum. I found it by doing a search for my grandfather, Lars Jorstad, who died before I was born. My mother was Eunice L. Jorstad. She died May 9, 1963, at the age of 55. Her sister, Margaret, received the nickname "Sis" as a young girl, and that name stuck with her among family and friends for the rest of her life. Aunt Sis remained a single lady living in Minneapolis and suburbs for her adult life. The Margaret that you have referred to above must be from a different family.

There are at least four Family Trees on Ancestry.com that contain Isac Jorstad. None of them have his parents listed. Two of them have a detailed list of the ancesters of his wife Bessie Hyer. The owners of those trees can be contacted if you have an interest.

I am the son of Richard Godfrey Jorstad who is the son of Isaac Godfrey Jorstad. My father had three sisters, Dorothy, Geraldine and Marjorie – my father and his sisters are all deceased. The picture of the tombstone is that of my Aunt Gerry's grave. She lived most of her adult life in Arlington, Virginia and was married to Harry Reese. My Aunt Marge's married name was Martin and she lived just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in a town named Wauwatosa.

1932 MARRIAGE A bride named MARGARET L JORSTAD married ROBERT J HOHAG 3/17/1932 in Hennepin County, Minnesota (from MOMS)......and next married Wilbur Morgan

[back in an edit to say this is a different Margaret, not Lars Jorstad's daughter, and therefore the following information on Wilbur Morgan is a different family. With thanks to the descendant who provided this information]
