He did not file for Naturalization until feb 1918. He was the only Andrew Skari in Norman cty. What I find interesting is I did notice on the ship records for an Ole Iver Skari traveling with him. So maybe the year is wrong with him coming over?? Ole lived in McHenry, ND. Which I do know there was relation in ND. Also the other part that interests me is That his wife Berthe was widowed at the time they married but she was married to a Kjos. So maybe Anders Andersen is a good fit? But birth dates, ship dates don't match so no real evidence. Even though I do agree that there is alot of coincidences. I do know that Andrew and Berthe were married in Polk Cty.

Not sure what you will find in Andrew's alien reg file but here is what the website has where you can order a copy for $10:

1918 Minnesota Alien Registration Records
Order Alien Registration Search

The Minnesota Alien Registration of 1918 was conducted to register all foreign born persons who were living in Minnesota, but who had not yet become US citizens. The resident was required to complete a 35 question schedule and to provide much personal information, including kind and amount of property holdings. In addition to the resident's name each entry gives the county and township, village, lumber camp or city in which the form is filed.

The Iron Range Research Center holds microfilmed copies of the original 1918 Alien Registration documents for all 87 Minnesota counties, and has created an index for those entries that can be searched by clicking on the tab above. Copies of documents can be ordered through the website once a record has been identified.

I just found an Iver Skare Dob May 3rd 1876 that also lived in Norman cty MN. On his WWI registration it lists Andrew Skare of Flaming, MN(which is where he was married at) as nearest relative. Death date for Iver is 7 Dec 1929 in Norman

Sorry I have no clue how to do that. Somehow I do not think that is what you want. I have also tried to copy and paste it.

It looks like you posted an Ancestry address but since I don't subscribe I can go there. Here is an Iver Anderson Skari b. in 1874 coming to US in 1894 from Gran through Oslo:

You can find that WWI record for him on family search also. May 23rd versus May 3rd. Another coincidence.

Here's the link at familysearch.org for the WWI image of Iver Skare (indexed that way but actually his signature reads Ivor Skari):

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1961-26453-6331-64?cc=1968530&wc=M9SL-BPW:259783117

Interesting also is his nationality given as Canadian.
