Can anyone make out Karen Olea Wilhem mothers full name? See #22.
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8146&idx_id=8146&uid=ny&idx_side=-41

It looks to me to be Maren Elisabea Axelsfah, there are a few similar last names on the page and I'm hoping it might be a name you have come across before!

new information and relatives requiring assistance with, any further information on any of them would be greatly appreciated.:

Additional info from Sande bygdebok p.538-540 Rølles:
#3-Ole Olsen b.1792,died 1840,married Berthe Maria Mathisdatter, died after 1840. together they had the following children:

1.Marte Helene 1814.
(I found this record # 18 on the right that has what looks like an "Anne Olsdatter Rolles" & "Johannes Rolles" as witness. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20070402640463.jpg. I realize it's a different year but it may fit in somewhere.
2.Matis 1819. ( I have no other info)
3.Maren Olava 1821 (probably died young).
4.Olaus 1823. ( I have no other info)
5.Maren Olava 1825. ( I have no other info)

6.Martin b:1827 married 1848 to Karen Olea Wihelmsendatter b:1826 @ Botne Church. (Have yet to find the birth/baptism records for two of their children "simon-3rd born & ole-6th born as I've been told by family! I have Olaus b:1849, Mathilda b:1851, simon b: ?, Maren b:1853, Mathias b:1856, Ole b: ?, Johan b:1860, Bredine b:1862 & Ellef b:1864)

Ole's parents:

#2- Ole Olsen from Dyve (farm-name) in Strømm(en) parish - see Hurum parish - Buskerud county.
Born about 1753, married 1786 in Sande parish Marte Helene Olsdatter b.1750.
Farming on Rølles in 1801. ( I have no other info)

His parents:
#1- Ole Olsen b.about 1725,died 1801.
Married (not in Hurum parish) Ingebor Auensdatter b.about 1710.
Both living on Rølles in 1801. ( I have no other info)

Marte Helene's mother:
Anne Torgersdatter b. about 1721, died 1792.
Her husband's name was Ole - probably Kristensen.
If that's correct - his farher was Kristen Olsen Lamager, living on Strømsø (now part of Drammen).

Carpenter W / Vilhelm Eriksen. married Maren Elisabeth Axelsdatter.
They were not married in Holmestrand or any of the neighbouring parishes Botne, Våle, Sande or Hof 1814-1827.
Not listed as moving into Holmestrand.
Only a few W/Vilhelm Eriksen/Erichsen listed in the national 1801 census - the closest in Kongsberg - Buskerud county.

Wow Einar thanks again for the info, I wish I had your knowledge and expertise navigating these records. You discovered more in a matter of hours than I've been able to in months. I've been trying my best, though perhaps no rhyme or reason as to how I search. I do greatly appreciate all your assistance, and all who have helped previously. Hopefully I can find out some more info on the other items to help with putting this puzzle together.
Ted
