...both born in Aurdal in Valdres in 1872. They were married in Ulnes church in Aurdal June 28th, 1901, and left their homeplace for America in April 1904. They had a paper from the minister, who wrote this on April 7, 1904. I think they ended up in North Dakota some time - I am interested in getting to know when they left Norway and from where in Norway. Where did they settle, did they have any children, and when did they die?

This is likely their arrival. From Aurdal and going to see his brother Anders Aaberg in Canton South Dakota. Travelling with wife Ingeborg same birth year.

On the same ship with Mikkel and Ingeborg in 1904, names as transcribed on the Ellis Island website:

Sven Andersen Aaberg 4 years
Syver Andersen Aaberg 2 years
Kolbjorn Aaberg 4 months old (the Oslo record makes him 11 months)

Here is Mikkel Helgeson of Adams county, 2nd papers in Naturalization, first attempt denied but this one was completed:

First papers not in N.D. are they elsewhere?
