Endre Jorgensen was born in 1756 in Sund, Ostervold, Norway I think on Hedemarken gard, that's where he was living on the 1801 census. Is it possible to find his parents?

I don't see any other Jørgensen (or Helgesen) in the 1801 census that might be siblings. I have tested Familysearch to find marriages in the parish about 1785, and found some, but not Endre Jørgensen's. My guess is that Endre and Magnilde came from another parish (perhaps without church books covered by Familysearch).

I have Gjertrud Johannesdatter's parents as Guri Hermansdatter and Johannes Olsen. I got a link on Ancestry for a Gjertrud (Guri) Hermansdatter Neset DOB 1740 and DOD 1814.....and married to Johannes Olsen Klepsvik. Could you help me figure out if this information can be verified as the correct parents for Gjertrud Johannesdatter. Thanks for all your help. Wanda

Giertrud Johannesdatter was 19 years old at the 1801 census.

The baptismal record for Gertrud Johannesdatter is the 4th from top second column. She was baptized Oct 30 1774.

Gertruds father died before 1801 and the mother was then married to Niels Knudsen, Logøen.

Gertruds parents were married July 5 1772, Johanes Olsen was then a widower, see 3rd record from bottom of right page.

Guri Hermansdatter was 60 on the 1801 census so she must have been born in 1741, is it possible to find her birth or baptism records, I'm pretty sure she was born in the Sund district. I'd love to know her parent's names. Thank you, Wanda

Thank you, are there baptism records for Naesse and if so could you check for Giertrud's records in 1741 or 1742.
