Augusta is the sister of my great grandfather Nils Peter Emil Christiansen who emigrated to Australia in 1876 on ship Herschel arriving Jan 1877 in Adelaide, South Australia |

quote: his brother Erling Syversen B 21 Sept 1904 Nokleby,
the baptismal record for Erling says he was born Sept 20 1904 and that his parents then were living at Lisleby. See #206.

Usually the Norwegian census records are fairly accurate, but I think that Trygve Syversen was born Dec 3,1901 and not Dec 3, 1902. He was baptised on March 2, 1902.

Censuses are notorious for errors - even the 1910 Norwegian census. Any record made by man is subject to possible error.
I'm still fascinated with the children born in Finnmark to parents of identical names as those in Ĝstfold. I've seen LDS volunteers trying to 'index' records that make mistakes in what they are struggling to interpret and extract into database form for their FamilySearch website. I'm going to make some inquiries with my LDS friends and do a little additional research into this strange 'coincidence'? I'll report back IF I learn anything which might be of general interest. |

You are welcome.
I saw that some of his pages was closed to unauthorized persons without his permission.
Good luck.
