Trying to find the death record of Marit Amundsdtr who was born abt 1700 in Aurdal, Oppland. She married Mons Tordsen Rølland 24 Jun 1720. I think I found the death record but am not sure because her husbands name is also mentioned in the same line. The month and year do match other information I have seen. Also her name is not listed as Marit but as Martha. Would Marit be a form of Martha? Tried to find the birth record to see what that said for her first name but couldn't find it. All I know is that she was born about 1700 in Aurdal, Oppland.

Source information: Oppland county, Aurdal, Parish register (official) nr. 4 (1730-1762), Death and burial records 1739, page 34-35.

Hopefully someone could look at the death record and tell me if I have found the right one. Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Is that a way of saying she was his wife when she passed away?

Yes, that is what it means.
The names match enough. Spelling varied a lot at that time.
I don't know what your other source of information is.
Rølland is the same as Rudlang.
The farm name is spelled Rudlang on maps of today, and the lokal pronunciation is Røllång.
Mogens=Mons. In Danish they spell it Mogens and pronouce it in a way that sounds like Mons in Norwegian ears.
Marit is a name variation of Margritte. Marta is name of another origin, but may also be a variation of Margritte.
